hey i had the same problem.you have to check the pdc sensors very carefully:
resistance 9-10 ohms
the sensor itself inside the rubber tube should have 2500 pf capacity.the induction coil inside is absolutely critical, you need 2,7 mH for that.
i guess you also get a long beep when in reverse gear .test the sensors also by feeling a high frequent knock in contact with the sensors.you can also check the readout with an oscilloscope and a ultrasonic sensor for 38 to 40 kHz
a replacement sensor in germany costs dm 115.-

THANKS FOR ANY HELPFUL REPLIES IN ADVANCE. I NEED SOME ADVICE ABOUT THE PARK DISTANCE CONTROL SENSORS WHICH HAVE SUDDENLY STARTED MALFUNCTIONING. I HAVE CHECKED THE FUSES, RELAYS, REMOVED THE FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS TO CHECK THE RESISTANCE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL SENSOR, AND REPLACED THE COMPUTER IC BOARD THAT CONTROLS THE PDC BUT NOTHING WORKS. I AM GOING CRAZY SO PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.

I HAVE ALSO CHANGED THE DRIVESHAFT FLEXIBLE COUPLING AND U JOINT TO CURE A VIBRATION AT 70-90KMH AND THAT HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL BUT THERE IS NOW A VIBRATION AT 50-55KMH! ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
