I Agree with previous guyds in that it is the brake calipers that are sticking and causing ABS mulfunction.
Check or replase your flexable brake hoses between caliper and body as they might be perished. The rubber goes soft and expands when you brake, when you release the hose colapses and brake fluid can not return fast enough. This causes the caliper to stick. If the car stands a while 1-2hrs the brake fluid leaks back and the wheel is totally free. I know it sounds absurd ,but those hoses have worked hard for a long time. Best Neil
