Check the motor, it is easy to access when seat back is removed. My $0.02

The position of that switch lends itself to getting spilled on. Try prying out the switch and spraying it with electric contact cleaner, clicking the switch back and forth. That just might do the trick.

'92 735i absolutely perfect, except....

The power lumbar on the drivers seat does not work.

Is there an easy solution? Is it even fixable, without replacing the seat?
