If 'the longer it sits - the harder it starts' is true, you might want to look at the check (non return) valve in the fuel line back in the fuel pump/filter area (haven't needed to dig for it yet). Can also cause problem when engine is hot since fuel will heat up in engine area after shutting down and if the valve lets pressure drop, the gasoline will vapourize (gas lock) in the fuel rail and starve engine for fuel until pressure/flow is regained.'88 750iL
My 88 735IL has 165K and runs really well. It won't turn over unless I give it a little gas while cranking. I just replaced the wires, plugs, rotor, and distributor hoping it would solve the problem, but to no avail. Any thoughts or ideas as to what might be wrong. Trying to avoid a trip to the "stealer". Thanks.
