In college I took a turkey home after a fraternity party (long story, rescued turkey from 2:00AM drunken archery contest). I put it in the garage with my 1968 Corvette. It was cold and the engine was warm so the turkey tried to roost on the engine, but couldn't get up on the hood since it was sloped. But that didn't stop it from trying over and over until the whole hood was ruined and I had to have it repainted. I thought seriously about doing some target practice myself, but just chased it into the woods.

My wife put a stray dog in the garage over night.

Dog scratched the hell out of the BMW.

Can these scratches be buffed out? or am I looking at a new clear coat or a whole paint job?

Thanks,

Ken
