A couple of weeks ago I received this message from BMW:

Availability of first photographs of the new 7 Series.

The past few days have witnessed increased number of questions about photos of the new BMW 7 Series. In December, Hans Heiland announced that photos would be available as of May 2001, when photos of the new 7 Series were to be distributed outside of the BMW Group for the first time. A few weeks later, it became apparent that this press release would have to be postponed by approximately five weeks. We wish to take this opportunity to apologise for not having informed you of this delay before now, and also announce that photos of the new BMW 7 Series will be available in mid-June at the earliest.
