Remember you can use lighter leads if you want & are VERY careful - unless you short-circuit the battery the wires are only carrying the charging current.
Other alternative is to follow these instructions for the seat removal ex Bentleys - seems like they don't need power to be removed...
- Pull front cushion up & out of clip
- remove seat control knobs & remove trim screws behind them
- pull up seat belt lock trims & remove from seat belt locks
- pull off door edge seal at bottom rear corner of door. Tilt door edge trim outward & remove.
- unbolt &remove seat belt locks
lift front of seat cushion, sliding seat tracks off body anchors & unhooking locating rods from backrest
- detach electrical wiring harness & lift cushion out of car
>>> installation is reverse of removal, but watch:
- guide seat cushion locating rods into backrest holes
- guide seat tracks into body anchors on floor
Any Idea how to get the power seat out? cause I can't charge the battery to get power to the seats to move them cause when I put the charger on the car it makes a very loud humming nois and I can feel the current of the charger in the front doors when I put my hand on them.
