My window slides off track when it is rolled about 2/3 of the way down. I can put my elbow on it, apply presure to the back of the window, and it rolls down fine. However, this is not an option. Is this an easy fix? I dont have my Bentley yet so how hard is it to remove the door panel?

Thanks,

Sam

I had a similar problem ages ago on my 1988 735.

The window glass is stuck to the mecanical part with a sticky gooy substance in the middle at the bottom of the galss. I pushed the glass back in and re-fixed using silicone bathroom sealant.

The door panel was fairly straight forward to remove, by pulling, carefully, at the bottom, rear corner.

You have to remove the black lock knob (thing) by unscrewing it and pull off the silver trim at the top too. The hardest thing was removing the door handle, which after removing the two screws needed a thump (upwards I think).

Sorry to be so vague, it was a long time ago and also mine is a 1988 model, but hope this helps.

Paul
