Are you sure you're in the right spot? Under the center front seat is the motor with 2 cables on either side. I don't know which one is broken, but I'd bet it's the right seat back which has twisted (left cable when looking at the motor from the front.) As Gale says there are 2 screw right where the cable goes in (ok, maybe 3). Remove these and you should be able to pull the cable out. Don't be scared to tug, but mine came right out. You can then use either Gale's heat method or the splice method. But you want to end up with the sheathing about 1/2 inch shorter than it is now. DO NOT cut the center drive - only the sheathing. Pull the drive out if you want to be sure, and then put it back in when you're done.
