Do you have the Morotola MicroTAC (you can remove it from the car and still use it) or the model that's just a handset? I am only familiar with the TAC model, but this may work with the handset model also. For the trunk piece, you basically remove the connectors and unscrew the box and the mounting brackets. You hide the wires behind the trunk panels. For the cabin pieces, the top part of the base is held by four allen screws. Remove them and then you will see screws holding the bottom piece. After you take everything off, you will have a wire bundle sticking out of the back of the cubby hole through a grommet. You can just stick the wire back in the hole and (depending on how they cut the vinyl/leather) then patch the hole. You can leave the mic (left of the radio) in the dash or pull it out and buy a blank cover.

I have 91 750IL and want to remove the cell phone since not using. Does anybody know how to remove the cell phone?
