To date, they have not come up with a single recommendation for a local 750 mechanic. Apparently, they wouldn't wish me on any mechanic either.
All I got in return from the Club board for my request was flak, and an email complaint from a woman who didn't like a picture I had posted on their board.
And no, it's not you, I have intentionally left out which dealer(s) I'm using. The reason should be quite obvious. You're so afraid of exposure you won't even post a name or email address!
And the mystery poster is.... Let me strain my brain for a millisecond- gee, could you be Joe? But of course, that might explain why you knew where to find me on the local board. If you had recommended a mechanic when I had asked for one, you might have saved me $600 and a dangerous high-speed freeway breakdown. But no hard feelings. I would have brought my car in and would have perhaps had that failure foreseen. Thanks to helpful people like you, I still don't have a local mechanic.
(When will you folks learn- you blaze a trail a mile wide!)
