I started my 735i up to move it into the garage today, after it had been standing for about two hours. When I tried to turn the steering wheel it was very hard to turn, almost like the power steering had gone out to lunch. Then all of a sudden it kicked in, then started cutting in and out at about 0.5 second intervals. I stopped the car and got out to check the fluid level, belt etc, but could not fault these. I then tried again, and it was fine, and later in the day it was fine as well. Has anyone ever had this experience?? Thanks for your help in advance.
