The LSD was an OPTION in all e32 models.
If the first owner paid extra $$$ then your car has LSD, if he didn't then you don't. Nothing to do with ASC.
About knowing if the car has one: turn the ASC off, take the car on a sand strip and floor it. If it "wiggles its tail" sideways a bit while drawing two scrapes of approximately same length, you most likely have LSD.
If it doesn't wiggle at all and draws either just one scrape or starts off with one wheel and the other seems to have started spinning much later, you most likely don't have lsd.
Anyhow, it's marked on the rear diff and getting under the car every now and then is a very good idea; you'll notice if you have developed leaks or rust or if something's loose.

ps: Once I got "ASC-stuck" in loose gravel, you know when it's braking both rear wheels so much the car won't move: I turned off the ASC and was FLYING out of the holes my rearr wheels had dug in the gravel; the LSD was naturally having both 255 tires scraping me outta there. LSD should be standard equipment on all cars!
