Has anyone actually drained 750i/iL engine blocks? (archive)

I got the pump working and everything is as hunky-dory as it gets, but it's still bugging me that I was unable to do something: particularily to drain the passenger side block of coolant.

It makes no real difference since I only had fresh water in the system (and given the massive radiator leak it was changed daily) but it pisses me off not to accomplish something.

So, if you have drained both blocks then please share with us: How on earth did you do it? Used child labour to fit their hands in? Circus trained mice? Nano-robots? Telekinesis? Removed the exhaust headers or the entire wheel support structure?

And Christine with cooling problems just a fading memory in the winds of time
