ASC+T does indeed make a LSD unnecessary.

I have to "nitpick" a little: Whereas the ASC+T function slows down your engine and brakes one wheel (or both?), the LSD is mechanical and does not slow down your engine or brake any wheels, so it gives you full power delivered to both rear wheels.

If I floor it when I for instance turn right from a traffic light, if I don't have the ASC on I will draw two nice wide black stripes on the pavement and leave the scene at increasingly increasing speed; but if I have the ASC function enabled at the same situation, it will take away 80% of my hp and slow me down for a second or two and I can kiss my fast acceleration goodbuye.

It is a real life-saver at winter, though.

Henkka
