There was a guy who was selling what he called an M550 -- an E34 535i with a E32 750 motor. Looked pretty neat.

Hi guys I recently changed my 1988 735' s engine and some time after I begun wondering whether it would have cost any more to install a 1989-90 M-5 engine (used, assuming I could locate one !! ) instead. Ever heard of such a swap ?
