The air con compressor relay on an 1988 - 91 car is behind the front passenger speaker panel. The one next to the passengers left foot on a right hand UK spec car. It is one of those small one inch by one inch by one inch relays. It is clipped and bolted to the steel bodywork behind the panel. Live feed to the compressor via the safety switches on the receiver/dryer, is the black wire with a red strip. It will show current when the engine is running and the push button air con switch on the control panel is operated.

Wondering if anyone knew where the relay was on a UK spec 89 735. As the clutch isn't kicking in.
