consequences might be. Do you think going from a 16 ohm coil to 15 ohms is a dramatic change? I can't say for certain myself, I would think a 1 ohm difference would be down in the noise. I'm going to give it a few weeks & if I can't discern an appreciable increase in performance, I think I'll take them out & put the old Lucas's back in since I want to replace the o-rings anyway, & do a Jim C. chip instead. So far I can't say there's much of a noticeble improvement with the Bosch/Mustang injectors but it gave me a chance to determine whether my old ones are o.k., & at $7.33 each, it was a cheap test, unless of course I end up frying the DME as you suspect could happen. Anyway, at least now I know popping the injectors in & out is a simple DIY.

BMW warns that an excessive increase of fuel will cause a hydrostatic lock. Being an electrical engineer I know you are putting strain on the DME just like over clocking a computers CPU. If it goes better pray the injectors shut off and not stay on.
