Quote from the manual: No additives besides the recommended / approved anitifreese/corrosion protection necessary. Use only anitfrezze free of amino and nitrite containing additives. Check with dealer.

The exact ratio between antifreeze and water is very important below 50% cooling will be reduced above 50% antifreeze the mixture will freeze above -38F°.

I would rinse the system thoroughly with tap water, add 6.5 quarts of antifreeze top with tap water and bleed.

BTW cant think any additive can reduce temperature by 20 degrees. If system is functioning the thermostat together with the fan clutch and aux fan will keep verything at required temperature. 20°F lower operating temps would have a negative effect on a couple of things, from wear to fuel consumption etc. Regards Ekkehart
