It looks like someone tried to slash one of my tires. They were not successful, but there are 2 gouges in the sidewall that appear to be cosmetic. Should the tire be replaced anyway? It's a brand-new $180 Continental with only 300 miles on it...I'd really rather not. Any ideas?
