94 740 w/dead battery/electrical after jump starts (archive)

94 740i was offroad in the winter and kids left a door open, draining battery to the bottom. Jumped the car once or twice, but it kept going dead. Replaced battery, and full check of the electrical showed loads/drains well within tolerances. But she still dies. Any suggestions on which parts of the system are most likely to have been damaged? Anybody in the NY/Westchester/NJ area who is really good/honest at diagnosing problems of this kind? Many thanks.
