On the 94 740iL I think the rear struts were the self leveling NOT the front? I have seen kits advertised to replace the rears w/conventional


If you change the rear self leveling suspension to the regular shocks you probably should replace the springs in the rear also because they are rated differently. The self leveling spring isn't as strong as the normal "i" spring because it counts on the hydraulics for additional suport and leveling. "i" springs also tend to sag a little over the years so you might want to buy new springs instead of used.
