Hi, I would try to do just what is recommended as per owners manual or service manual. It states pretty much all that has to be done. I follow the SI Indicator and just change refrigerant every 3 yars, brake fluid (DOT 4) yearly. Diff lubricant I change yearly, same with tranny fluid. I use the NGK platinum plugs (4-electrodes) recommended by BMW. They are expensive but supposed to last about 40k mls. The rest is either indicated (brake pads) or eyeballing (hoses, belts). Rotors I measure and usually change with the second set op pads.

Some work I let the dealer do (brake fluid, tranny, diff). The rest I do myself. I just use what the book says regarding ATF, Pentosin etc. Inexpensive mineral oil (5W - 40) and no additives for anything. Be getting close to 200k mls on my current 750i. Regards Ekkehart
