If you take the seat out it's alot easier to deal with. What happens is either the inner cable has wound up & shrunk or the outer black plastic sleeve has stretched. The result is one end or the other pulls out of the drive socket. I did my passenger seatback a while back & wrote up a repair guide based on several archive descriptions.gale

THe mechanic told me to change all the cables of the seat. He is telling me he will charge me 300 bucks. I saw the archieve and try to fix it myself. I can't fix it.
I only can lift up the seat and see full of wires down there. Those cables are all tight. I don't know what to do? any ideas?
