THe mechanic told me to change all the cables of the seat. He is telling me he will charge me 300 bucks. I saw the archieve and try to fix it myself. I can't fix it.
I only can lift up the seat and see full of wires down there. Those cables are all tight. I don't know what to do? any ideas?

The repair is really not very difficult if you have a few basic tools. (3/8 & 1/4 drive socket sets with torq sockets).
First remove the seat and turn it upside down so that you access the motors. Remove the cables from the motors, and if it is the driver's seat, the cables extend through the feedback transducers. All of the assemblies are easy to work with. When you remove the seat, first disconnect the cable that pulls the upper seat belt anchor adjustment.
When you get to the control cables for the seat back you will find that they need to be lubricated and properly seated in the motors. I have two e32's and have had to do this four times.
