Is the expansion valve used on BMW's 7 series a fixed orifice valve or a pressure controlled valve????
The reason I ask is because when I was checking my high and low pressure levels, I noticed that (a static system: engine not running)the high side remained on 200 psi, while the low side was at 70 psi. On fixed orifice systems, that pressure is the same on high and low (static test).
