I have an 88 750il and my girlfriend just bought a 91 735il. Both cars have about the same mileage - her car was probably a bit better maintained by its previous owner(s). Anyway, just drove the 735 on the interstate 2night to get a comparison to my 750. Overall, there is a considerable difference in aceleration, especially in the "kick-down" phase. Off the line, they are both similar until the higher RPM's come into play. We actually raced the other day from a dead stop on a highway just outside of town. To my amazement, she held up with me initially, but around the 45 -50 mph mark she was in the rear view - if ya know what I mean - oh yes, I had it in SPORT. I can't make too many comments on handling because I no longer have stock wheels and tires on my car, sorry. Thats my 2 cents - hope it helps.

Ben
