Just did the front set. I asked for brand recommendations a while back and pretty much got a unanimous response on Bilstein. My supplier of choice was Zygmunt (bimmerparts.com). Some technically worthy brands such as Boge were a little cheaper ($10 or so) but the Bilstein included the bump stop internally, the boot and the retaining collar. They have three levels of stiffness, OEM, HD and sport. I bought the HD and find it on the edge of being too stiff but only have a few miles on them so far...expecting some relaxation to come.

I need to replace all 4 shocks on my 88 735i. What source do you guys/gals recommend?

Thanks

Anthony
