The UK 1990 750i I went to see on Sunday was de-chromed with the usual shiny bits painted the same metallic black as the body.
Is this anything special?
I've not seen many without the chrome bumper inserts etc.

I also de-chromed mine myself using blackout tape form Japan. It appears like electrical tape but thicker and permenent bonding as soon as you apply and very durable. I did it to my window trims and inside window sills. I do not particularily like the chrome, so I just bought it and did it.



The tape sounds great. How do I get it in the old USA. Thanks, Dave
