Hello Ben,
I had my windows tinted this April. I went with the metallic type 50%. It is a huge help to keep inside temp down. It looks very nice as well. The guy that did mine said I wouldn't notice any difference if I used 35% compared to the factory tint. When I first saw the car I thought it was too much, but after a while I got used to it. When you use the metallic type tint it does not give the car the same dark look as you would with the smoked type tint. I went with the premium grade tint I think they called it platinum plus and it was $250 installed.
