I installed the Dinan Trans chip about a month after installing the Dinan Engine chips. Before the trans chip, the car shifted early, before redline, at WOT in E mode. (The car is a 90 750iL witout S mode option.) With the trans chip, the car shifts at redline if not a little after (according to the tach). Overall, although the chips and install are pricey, they are worth it. Especially, if you are running high octane anyway.

Any comments from those who have installed the Dinan transmission chip. I understand that it raises the shift points. Is there any benefit to the chip that the "Sport" transmission mode does not deliver? Other comments?
