Yes, I had one fitted 'til some numpty removed it during service!!!
Do they work .....In effect - yes! I found the car responded slightly quicker, the added advantages are
1/ Replacement filters RESTRICT the flow of air into the mixture, K&N improves airflow!!!
2/ At £11 a time for a genuine filter I'd rather replace it with K&N, which only needs to be replaced ONCE and can be recharged EVERY 50k or so!! Cost is everything when running one of these babies, So a K&N REDUCES Cost and BMW do recognise it as a genuine Filter.
My advice....For £40 Notes it will pay for itself in the long run with slight improved performance!!
