I went 17 x 8 all around. The hub bore on our cars is 72.5 mm, and on almost all other late-model BMWs it is 74mm. Thus, you need the hubcentric rings. I got the them at for $2 each. The car now has absolutely no vibrations of any kind at any speed. I am sure you can use the staggered wheels; just be sure that they are all of 20mm offset.
