Your parking/tail light problems are almost certainly caused by cracked solder joints in the mustard relay. Check the archives and you'll find acres of info.

My 1990 735il has intermittent problems where the headlights
just go out while I'm driving!! Damn glad the fog lights
are still working during that time. The OBC has is also giving me intermittent reports about my parking lights and tail lights. Obviously there is a electrical connection problem somewhere. I recall reading somewhere that this may be a common problem and that the fix may be to clean something in the fuse box. Can anyone help?
