It is a 1 h job. No need to drop the suspension.

Is it hard to change the lower oil pan gasket on my 88 750iL? Can anyone give me advice? I was told that my front axle had to be dropped to change it. Is that true. Can I change it myself? It doesn't look too difficult, however; I don't want to get into a job that gets too hairy. What is the specified torque for the oil pan bolts when they are to be tightened?
