If using the existing standoffs, I offer this caution (forgive me if this is obvious to any readers already).

When drilling a couple of holes to hold the sink against the MOSFETs mounted on the old stand-offs, make sure they are positioned through the wide traces on the PCB that the existing standoffs are attached to. In electronic terms, the bolts will be in parallel with the standoffs.
