If we agree that 1 US gallon = 3.785l and 1 mi = 1.609 km then the conversion factor from l/100km to mpg would be 235.188 . Just divide this number by your l/100km reading and you should get US mpg. In your case 235.188/9.2=25.56 mpg . I suspect that the discrepancy could arise from using imperial gallons (4.546 l). Just my $0.02
I changed the display from metric to... errr that non-metric goofy one... ;-) to see how much it would be and it was showing 31 or 32 mpg.
I have the computer on US english.
