My Upper control arm bushings are in need of replacement. I have never done this before and need some advice. The removal of the control arm seems relatively straightforward. But can anyone give me some advice on how to press out the old bushing and then press in the new bushing without the recommended bushing tool? The bushing costs $35.00 and the tool costs $175.00. Do I really need the tool?
