Keith, rather than fooling with the S/R, try the OBC codes and get continuous readings. Set it to TEST8. Speedometer correction is done through TEST10. I haven't tried it but I pointed it out to someone a long time ago and they indicated it didn't work on their car.

Has anyone performed an "instantaneous" reading from the OBC for MPH. I do this by going hitting the AVG MPH button and the hitting the S/R button. I assume that the first reading that is given is an "instantaneous" reading.

Using this method at about 60 MPH, my OBC is about 7MPH different than my speedometer. I believe that the OBC is correct.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a way to adjust or calibrate the speedometer?
