Tracy, I agree with Wayne in that it appears that you are going in the right direction.

Headrest tip: Both my rear headrest were non operational when I purchased my 735iL and I discovered that both had been disconnected from their electrical harness connection... (probably due to someone to manually pulling up on them) I pulled straight up on the headrest (it takes a small amount of exertion ...and they come right out) and slid them back in pushing down firmily to reseat the connection. This worked for one of the headrest but I discovered that the other electrical harness (in the rear seat back) had a broken the connection wasn't being made. I had to remove the seatback and connect it manually (and pray that no one pulls up on the headrest and disconnects it!) I believe I read that you have a Bentley manual...if so, there is a picture of the rear seatback elec/harness (page 520-10)

Power steering reservoir tip: Be sure to check the Pentosin fluid level according to the Bentley (page 020-19). It should be about 1" below the reservoirs rim...or just above the bottom of the screen . You also may want to change the fluid and the filter that is at the bottom of the reservoir since it is 12 years old. I believe, just like brake fluid, that it is hydroscopic (I hope that's the correct term) and over time will absorb water. A good reason to change both fluids after a few years. (cheap insurance)

Good luck,
91 735iL
