product and not "synthetic", what would be its life expectancy and is the Pentosin fluid efficacy diminished over time? Hhmmm. Another question I have is...where does the build up of contamination come from? When I changed the pwr str reservoir filter, it was filthy and clogged. Hhmmm. Sooo many questions. Anyone want to chime in?

I never actually checked the composition myself, but I was told that Pentosin in mineral oil based, unlike brake fluid which is alcohol based, it should not be so prone to absorbing water over time.
