The car has another filter for the hydraulic system in addition to the screen in the reservoir that should be changed. Its located in the front of the engine at the bottom in the middle. You can see it from above looking down behind the radiator. It was a bear unscrewing the filter housing. I ended up taking the housing off to finally crack it open. You will need to bleed the system after replacing this filter. It might be a good idea to suck out the old fluid in the reservoir with a turkey baster and refill it some fresh stuff. You'll need a little under 2 liters.
