Using this method at about 60 MPH, my OBC is about 7MPH different than my speedometer. I believe that the OBC is correct.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Is there a way to adjust or calibrate the speedometer?
Yeah, mine too is out a little bit. 1988 750iL UK import now in Australia. OBC is dead accurate - have tested and proven that without doubt.
Also I was told by a very reliable source that (in Australia at least) speedometer is not allowed to be 100% accurate. Must have up to 10% decrease in speed reading from actual velocity.
Cheers,
