1/ How long has it been on the other car?

2/What Condition is it in? Did it have any Problems on the other vehicle? and if the Donor Vehicle isn't running then you face a Difficult Decision of whether or not to take it.

3/ The flow regulator and Booster must be replaced as new, as secondhand parts risk Damaging
the system, Secondly it would be false economy as these parts are relatively cheap and you would benefit better from new.

I am looking for the following:

power steering pump

the hydraulic brake booster (sits between the master cylinder and the pedal
and has hydraulic lines going to it)

The power flow regulator (sits near the reservoir and has a bunch of
hydraulic lines going in and out of it)

I have a problem with my steering system and I am looking to take the
shotgun method of repair. The only thing I am sure it is not is the brake
bomb.

For that mater, do you know what condition the steering gear is in. Did it
have a dead spot. Mine has about an 1/8th of a turn before it does anything.
