Try adjusting valves cold (Car sits overnite) at .008" AT THE CAM. This will eliminate possible slack caused by irregular surfaces between the valve stem and the eccentric adjuster. Also Metric Mechanic in K.C. KS sells a spray bar that balances the oiling between the front and rear cam lobes and rockers. If you get their spray bar, BE SURE and follow their directions R.E. washer placement on their new hollow bolts. OR just go to the stealer and get upgraded hollow bolts and their THICK crush washers, four each, one goes above and below the bar on each bolt to seal... Good Luck.
