Thanks for the info. Mine is white with black interior. It has aftermarket wheels which might go. I have an extra set of 16" basketweaves from my 535. For your ac, I have converted many to R134, pretty easy DIY project. You can get a rebuilt compressor from your favorite auto parts store for 160.00 inc clutch. Drain oil put in R134 compatable oil and ALWAYS replace the drier. Replace the orings if you are motivated and have the system evacuated (I picked up a used vacuum pump at an auction a few years back for 10.00) Ive got one that was converted 4 years ago and still have not added any refrigerant. If you need any more info, let me know.

Congrats on the purchase. I bought an '88 750il 8 months ago. I've had to fix quite a few things on it since I've had it. It had 141k miles on it when I bought it and I've put ~7k more on it in that time. Some of things I've had replaced or replaced myself include:
-windshield (was cracked when I bought the car)
-all the hoses & belts
-driveshaft
-radiator
-accumulators for the hydraulic suspension
-brake accumulators
-oil pan gaskets (that was expensive)
-two door latch mechanisms
-stereo (I upgraded to an aftermarket setup because the original speakers were shot)
-had all four BBS wheels fixed (3 were bent, 1 was cracked when I bought the car) & powder coated
-all the windshield washer tanks, 2 nozzles, and 1 pump
-2 fog lights & one headlight
-trunk shocks
-hood shocks
-upper control arm bushings
-trailing arm bushings
-outside temperature sensor
-reverse light relay
-heater valve
-interior "courtesy light" switch
-several light bulbs in the dash and interior
-driver's door strap
-battery

The compressor died on the A/C about three weeks ago. That is my text "big ticket" item I need to get fixed. Other things I need to do in the near future:
-twisted seat fix for both front seats
-new tires & alignment
-new rear muffler
-replace all rotors & pads (this can wait a while longer)

What color is your car? What wheels does it have on it? My car is delphin gray metallic with black leather and black 16" cross-spoke BBS wheels and AC Schnitzer ground effects.
