If you've had all this work done and you still have the shimmies & shakes...I would suggest looking up a shop that uses the Hunter GSP 9700 wheel balancer and have your wheels rebalanced using their "road force" balance system. It worked for me and many others. Click onto their link and find the ones in your area. I would also suggest calling the various shops and ask their pricing...it can vary a lot from shop to shop. The highest in my area was $30 per tire and the lowest was $7.50 per tire. (I do not work for or own stock in this company...just a satisfied customer)

I have the same problem on my 88 750il. The front end is new and I just put on the 18s. When the tires are cold, there is a mean shimmy between 45-50 mph. When the tires heat up, it seems to diminish. Don't know if it's the tires, the wheels or both. Tires are Kumho Ecstas 245/40, wheels are TUV approved Mak Energy, made by TSW.

I have a bad wobble in the front wheels at 2500-3000rpm /45-50mph uphill in certain curves and on certain surfaces.
Have replaced upper and lower control arms, bushings, tie-rods. New rims and tires (balanced of course) and still wobble. About 4000 miles ago brakes were replaced new rotors
etc. Also shocks....so this leaves the center link or are the rotors warped or a caliper hanging up ? At high speed with brake applied wobble diminishes. Anybody have similar problems?
