This is definetly not the cheap route at $400-600 per car, but I found a place that removes all the windows before applying the tint and then bakes it on. Never had a bubble or peel on 6 cars in 6 years. They brag that you can tell this is much stronger because their tint covers the whole window instead of leaving 1/4" on the edge on the side windows where normal tint will eventually peel from rubbing on the window seals from opening/closing the windows. An added bonus for people in states such as CA, where tinting the front windows is illegle, the cops can't tell there is after-market on the window since they don't see the 1/4" gap.

Expensive, but Bimmers deserves it.....

Getting ready to have the old window tint removed and replaced on my 88 735iL. Has anyone had this done recently? What should I consider "reasonable" cost, etc.? Anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks,
M.H.
