Hi Guys,
Sorry, half the message was deleted where I poceeded it with a "less than " symbolo.
This may have already come to light on the board before I joined, but in my efforts to check my oil level sensor via the main harness connector in the engine bay I noted the following: (Word for word from the Bentley, page 119-4)
Blue/yellow wire (1) is for dynamic switch and blue white wire (2) is for static switch.
Table a. Oil Level Sensor Continuity Test
Blue/yellow wire and ground
(static switch)
Blue/white wire and ground
(dynamic switch)
This, tied with the fact that the connector does not match mine makes it a bit hit & miss as to being able to perform the continuity test. Can someone please tell me which wires are for which switch and also what pins they are on the connector on my right hand drive 730iSE.
TIA
Paul.
