I purchased a set of Goodyear belts for my '88 750 and they were definitely two different ones. Unfortunately, I didn't compare the relative lengths to see which was longer before the shop put them on. I toasted an alternator on a trip and asked dealer to install my new belts while they had everything stripped down, otherwise I would be able to answer this properly.



So I doubt if it matters, one may be more worn than the other or you have the system with double battery chargers.

Check the #s.

Then again, I doubt you could fit them "the wrong way around"...
